From Pork Dumplings to a Risotto dish, food is the key that entices and drags me towards these places. I have watched many food related programmes and realised that sure, the big, posh restaurants may have super modern surroundings and combinations of food that certainly can seem bizarre and out there. Yet, to really know a country or city, take a relaxing stroll around the tiny and hectic backstreet's, that's where the true and traditional meals are cooked. For these cafe's and restaurants, it's not about the money or the perfect wine to go with a silver service meal. It's the recipes that have been passed down through the generations with such secrecy that no one from the outside would ever know.
Then obviously we move onto the fact that these are certainly some of the most beautifully landscaped and picture perfect places you could ever have the chance to see. The man-made and busy structures of Eifel Tower, Vatican City, Tokyo hold these places to the modern society of life and keep the tourists coming back every single year. Less, we can never forget how beautiful the surrounding wilderness is and how dated and traditional some people and towns are.
One day I want to be able to say i've visited both sides to each country, the new and the old, the busy and the ghost towns. I want to be able to see all the pictures and write about each and every experience of my travels.
